Genius hour with May Road!!!
What?
We went to May Road School to collaborate with them and do some genius hour projects with them and get to know them more better. When we first got their they said we were going to play a game to get to know the other kids and I found out more about them that we had a lot in common.
So what?
What was I doing at MRS? Well we were doing some collaboration with the other kids. In case they go to Waikowhai Intermediate.
Now what?
I hope I learn about more of them and start to make new friends from other clusters around the globe.

My Key Competency reflection term 2
One of the things I am inquisitive about is our topic Marine Habitats. I want to learn more facts to move onto a higher level with my writing. By asking relevant questions, I can learn more and discover new information that I didn’t know.
One of the things I also understand is that the choices I make affect myself and others in the class. I try to stay focused and carry on with my learning even if I get distracted.
Another thing I do well is listening to other peoples ideas. I don’t judge them if they say or do something incorrectly. When I am working in groups we brainstorm and collaborate to avoid leaving people out.
I can comment and get feedback on my blog because I can use my chromebook effectively. Using my chromebook on sensible websites helps me to achieve learning goals that have been set.

Thinglink: Ocean Currents
We have been exploring Thinglink and using it to create content which other people can use to learn from. This is about Ocean Currents.
3 things I have learnt about Ocean Currents.
1. Salty water is more denser than warm water.
2. The currents are made by thermohaline which is salt and heat.
3. Salty water is heaver that normal water.
